在深足与申花的比赛中，马里与申花教练席发生了口头上的冲突，随后在第四官员的提醒下，主裁判向马里出示红牌将其罚下。

马里微博全文：

大家好，我是深圳佳兆业球员约翰•马里，很抱歉因为此前发生的事情引起一些不必要的误解。

我是2018年来到中国的，效力过两支球队，我在中国成长，也收获了很多。在这两年多的时间里，我成为了3个孩子的父亲，也因为在中国联赛的表现入选了喀麦隆国家队，可以说是中国培养了我。这两年，我到过很多城市，各地的朋友对我都很尊重，也帮助了我，对此我心怀感激。

和申花队的比赛我得了一张红牌。因为我的不冷静行为，使球队少人应战，给俱乐部带来了不好的影响，所以我真诚地向深圳球迷和俱乐部道歉。同时，向因语言问题引起球迷误会表示歉意。足球是激烈的运动，但我们都是在公平竞赛的环境下比赛，希望通过我们共同努力，让中超联赛更加精彩。

Hi everyone, this is John Mary, a player from Shenzhen FC. Hereby I want to say sorry for what happened before ,cause some unnecessary misunderstandings.

I came to China in 2018 and played for two teams. I become mature in China and gained a lot of experience. In the last two years and half, I became a father of three children and was drafted into Cameroonian national team due to my performance in the Chinese League. We can say that I got huge development in China. Last years, I have visited many Chinese cities. Friends from all over the country respect me and help me. I highly appreciate all of it.

I got a red card in the game against Shanghai Shenhua. Because my overreacting behavior, the team played with one player less during the rest of the time, caused a bad influence to the club. I sincerely apologize to the club and fans. At the same time, I apologize to fans for the misunderstanding caused by language problems. Football is a competitive sport, and our game is fair play. We hope Chinese Super League will be more exciting through our efforts.
